Check-ins/Updates:
Before I begin:
By this point, Iβm invested in the series. Itβs just an added bonus itβs Sebastian and Evieβs love story β₯οΈ The end of It Happened One Autumn πβs epilogue alluded to this pairing. And with what Iβve heard from Romancelandia, itβs going to be epic ππ½ππ½
Prologue – Chapter 6
Idk π€·π½ββοΈ if itβs because this is the 3rd book but I feel well acquainted to the storyβs set up ππ½ I liked the early utilization of sex, especially since I liked St. Vincent all the way back to It Happened One Autumn π
Chapter 11 – Chapter 16
Felt Daisy, in this section was really real. This book has a lot of meat to it π€ With ΒΎ wallflowers married, itβs understandable Daisy may feel out of place π€ Enjoyed seeing Cam and Daisy on page together! ππ½ The celebacy pact between St. Vincent and Evie ππ½ After Jennerβs passing π₯² St. Vincent is really there for Evie β€οΈ Alot happened in this section π€ I feel that, at this point in the story, Evie and St. Vincent are steady. They know of each otherβs shotcomings, but itβs ok ππΌ which I feel makes a relationship stronger πͺπ½
Chapter 17 – Chapter 22
Jumping between books, needed to refresh my memory ππ€¦πΌββοΈ
Evie and St. Vincent are π₯ This bookβs premise isnβt too out there but Evie and St. Vincent make like candy π π¬ Itβs just so good and so fun! π€
This book does deal with dark themes, which was unexpected but juxtaposed with the awesome love line, it never gets too dark ππ½ So, in that sense, the story seems to give you a goid reading experience ππΌ!
End of book π
Not too plot heavy, but contained some darker moments within a lovely friend group with lots of β€οΈ This story is a pleasant mix of light and cute β with still some meat ππ½ Going into this, expected to enjoy it, but didnβt expect how I felt while reading it. Like going home π‘ Exciting yet nothing too exciting (just normal π) That may not be what everyone looks for but I eat it up like π¬! The family dynamics in here π€ It was a spectrum.
