According to dictionary.com, a hematologist is βA physician specializing in hematology.β π Lol π Love it when you have to look up a word in the definition! Hematology is βthe study of the nature, function, and diseases of the blood and of blood-forming organs.β
I have hemotologist since my hyper coagubility is a blood-related condition…. She is responsible for monitoring my blood, includes lots of blood panels π She also prescibes my Xaralto, which is a very important medication for me (see my post βMy 1st Read-along!)
But it has been over a year since Iβve seen her π As with any doctorβs visit, I was weighed (124 lbs! ππ½), got my bp and temperature checked (all within normal limits! And typical for me!)
As is typical of doctorβs visits, she asked if I was experiencing new symptoms (which Iβm not) and gave a timeline projection of when sheβd like to see me next ππ½
