Book 📖 Never Seduce A Scoundrel
Before I begin:
As with most (if not all SBU picks), I know nothing but just want to get in on the discussion 😂😇 Like the theme for the season! So trust the book!
Getting Spring of Scoundrels vibes with this book 🤔 Slowly met the players and intrigued 🤔
- It’s the Spring of Spies again and I’m here for it! Excited to finally talk about it 😊😇 Keeping 🤫 🤬😂 Like Amelia’s 1) adventureness and 2)flirtyness. Ship Lukas-Amelia 😍 so excited for more 🤗
The previous section ended with Amelia kissing Lukas 😏 this section began with Lukas really kissing Amelia 😏 In this section, adventures for society lessons were broached 👏🏽 😂 That concept sounds funNY 😄 The sword ⚔️ imagery 😂😏 Ship adventures 😏 Ends with Lord Pomeroy, don’t know what happens 🤷🏽♀️ but Amelia 🤬 This story is fun 😏😉😉
- Growing up, girls are told to play dumb 🤬 Like Lucas said, it’s not pretty 😍 🙅🏻♀️ What ic Jeffries is putting a spin on this?! 💡 Didn’t catch on til I read the thread, this is an AGE GAP 🙏🏾
The main thing of the plot in this section is ||Amelia’s kidnapping 😱 reminds me of Devil In Winter||
Admittedly, actually read a little past Chapter 16 (got engrossed 😬)😇
- Text is more expedient 😊😂😇 Kidnappings are common in historicals but be careful what you ask for 👆🏼 Kidnapping happened sooner that I expected 🧐 Curious timing in books 🤔
Didn’t expect that kidnapping 😮 Can’t imagine how terrifying it can be… at least, Amelia has Lukas 🤔 In that situation though, would they really get intimate? 🤷🏽♀️ Doesn’t feel like the right time…
End of book 📖
There’s a few instances of danger sex in here 🤣🤔 Admittedly feel asleep while listening last night… Lukas’s job offer in Morocco (Good fit for Amelia 😊) Going to see what else is on the thread 🤗
- Dolly Dorthy Friar 😱 Tie into Lukas’ father’s suicide 🤔 Agreed this story was a LOT 😇 Lord Kirkwood and Sarah can still have a book 🧐 2nd chance?!
