I love the holidays! ♥️ Already started planning for it 😂 I figured I’d share my TBR then blog as I read, then maybe wrap up 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

Love the planning process ♥️😍 Love making lists (like Santa 🎅🏽😂😇), tables, charts, etc. So, to start, had some books I was waiting to get to (Walking In A Witchy Wonderland, A Wallpaper Christmas, A Tale Of Two Cities) that I’ve been itching to get to. Then I asked for recommendations 🙏🏾 Which was very helpful 😉 The TBR is still a work in process (WIP)

Like the structure of readathons, but 🤷🏽‍♀️ if there’s any coming up. And this blog is meant to bring you along with me. So this is how it came to be structured how it is.

Reading sprints at 11 am! 👏🏽 Love reading sprints! Reading more Mating The Huntress!

Spent the day “reading” got to Chapter 5, 55% through the ebook before switching to A Wonton Wager by Grace Callaway on audio. Got to Chapter 8 21% through the audiobook 😉

Resumed reading Mating The Huntress by Talia Hibbert . I think I’ll do what I did yesterday 🤔 read Mating The Huntress then switch over to A Wonton Wager on audiobook tonight. 😁

Still unsure how I’ll blog novellas 🤷🏽‍♀️ Think I’ll blog before and after. Still not sure if I’ll write a formal book review.

Read Amazon synopses: For actress Aspen Watson, all it takes is a trip back to her hometown for Thanksgiving for her to realize that sometimes home can be where the heart is in more ways than one.

Not much information there but, even though Thanksgivingis a problematic holiday, I love what it stands for.

This holiday is far from being about me, but I had my stroke 11/27/2017 almost 4 years ago. So it’s hard to not share personal experience. Having had a stroke makes you grateful and appreciative!

From the synopsis, think the story is a holiday small town romance. Know the story takes place in 2 cities. I do enjoy small town romances! 🤗

Finished the chapter I left off on, then went back to chapters 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 because I felt like I was missing something 😂

Determined to get through my holiday TBR, so will start a little early 🤷🏽‍♀️Still reading Her Wanton Wager and One Night Is Never Enough, but eager to start Wicked Deeds On A Winter Night for #BangingThroughTheSnow and HRReadathon (check out my blogs for them 🙏🏾)

Also decided won’t be putting #BangingThroughTheSnow on my Instagram story because, as awesome 👍🏽 as the name, its not something I want my nieces and nephews to see

But finishing chapter 14 of One Night Is Never Enough first 😉 Made changes to my # TBR, changed A Mistletoe Christmas to Stacy Reid’s “Wicked Deeds On A Winter Night” from It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Scandal. But need to read My American Duchess by Eloisa James too. Found the audiobook so “Wicked Deeds On A Winter Night” after I make progress 😉

But I’ll resume A Tale Of Two Cities by Alexandra Warren. We go back to The Max then Aspen gets picked up by Orlando 😁 They go to Jackie Robinson Park 😏⚾️⚾️⚾️ Tried to keep scene descriptions vague, intended to help me 😉 ⚾️⚾️

And we left of at ⚾️⚾️ in Aspen’s hotel room 😏 Realized I never read before the part where they first got to Aspen’s hotel room 🤔 so glad I went back 2 chapters 😉 Appreciate how the plot is easy to follow 👍🏽 A Tale Of Two Cities is 5 novellas: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Valentines day. After this holiday season, plan to have read 4/5 novellas. So far Thanksgiving is connected to Halloween by Aspen and Lincoln being old high school classmates 🤔 How will the others connect?

I don’t read many contemporary, language is something I note. I understand this prose is true to the culture it’s based in, but I don’t use that language. But the language I use that aligns with the prose, made me laugh 😂 The storyline was fairly predictable – celebrity comes home for the holidays and falls in love 😍 You get what’s to be expected 😁😇

Finish A Tale Of Two Cities, the thanksgiving novella then move onto Walking In A Witchy Wonderland then A Tale Of Two Cities (Christmas & New Year’s Eve) 😉 The collection holds 5 novellas, after these holidays I’d have read 4/5. Not your typical series that’s connected by siblings. In here, Aspen and Lincoln are old high school friends. How are the subsequent novellas connected 🤷🏽‍♀️ Just figured out page length!
